The clicker works like a dream in Pixels Filling Squares 3.0, where I use it to gather manual crit collects while autocasting Buy Hack (which can trigger additional refills on the Crit bar with a certain skill, and crits give energy back via another skill, so I've seen it spam-crit-collect multiple times in-series on numerous occasions), so I'm wondering if it's not an issue with how something handles Flash. The laptop keyboard is currently disabled (as of yesterday, I'm using an external kb), but which kb is in use also doesn't affect the issue. The problem presents whether I'm using the touchpad or (as of yesterday) using an external mouse. I don't have a significant load of other software running, or anything unrecognizable except perhaps that I'm not familiar with some of the laptop settings. Idle Mine hasn't "recently added" anything, Anti-Idle behaves similarly, and so does Kittens Game (tested spamming Gather Catnip) and Idle Skilling (which I only open to make updates, and then close, because it's somehow a really bad resource hog). even if I set it at 5/10ms, it does this erratically. No, the machine is not "struggling" with the click speed.
Now, my "upgrade" to Win10 is me going from a desktop to a laptop, so it may somehow be related to laptop issues, but I feel like there's some manner of extra layer involved that insists I be "using" the cursor to really notice it. As long as I'm moving the cursor, the game sees the clicks, but erratically won't notice some of them at the points where I stop for a moment (such as either end of a back-and-forth motion). Instead, the game will erratically "notice" a click or two here and there, and nothing else happens UNLESS I MOVE THE CURSOR. even 1/100ms shouldn't struggle too much, and something in the ballpark of 5/100ms should fly. It's a junk game, but I should be able to speed-click it with FMA just fine. My go-to test for this is a game called Idle Mine, on Kong. I can use it to click something perhaps once a second, but if I want to speed-click something, I also have to move the cursor.
Since I've upgraded from Win7 to Win10 (about a year ago), the clicker doesn't work in terms of speed anymore, and behaves oddly. I've been using FMA for years, due to bad tremor.
